They are the only known female escape and magic duo in the Southeastern United States. How It All Began
Sher'ril and Samantha have been interested in magic and escapes ever since they can remember watching other magicians on TV. At the age of seven, Sher'ril recieved her first magic kit on Christmas morning and began practicing. Samantha, at the age of three, also wanted to practice and she promptly lost every piece in the magic kit. Thus Sher'ril and Samantha's interest in magic ended until August 2012.
Sher'ril and Samantha had moved from magic toward the private detective business. Their role model was the fictional teenaged detective, Nancy Drew. In some of her cases, Nancy would find herself locked in boxes and closets as well as bound by ropes, shackels, chains, etc. Sher'ril and Samantha decided that in order to be just like Nancy Drew, they would need to know how to escape from such things. They took turns tying and locking each other up and escaping, and found that they enjoyed the challenge.
They didn't even think of using escapes in a career until Sher'ril found a book about Harry Houdini. After reading about Houdini's life and his success as an escape artist and magician, Sher'ril and Samantha realized that they didn't want to be private detectives! They wanted to be what they most enjoyed being: Sher'ril and Samantha Escape Artists Extraordinaire.
Sher'ril and Samantha's very first escape performance was performed in the living room of their house for the audience of their parents and a friend who was staying the night. The "stage" was set with a string of Christmas lights on the floor and two lightsabers glowing red and blue on either side of the performance area. The escape performed was "The Great Snuggie Escape".

Since "The Great Snuggie Escape" Sher'ril and Samantha have been performing escapes and illusions with handcuffs, ropes, chains, stocks, boxes, a regulation strait jacket, and more. They have also created some of the illusions and escapes they perform in their shows.
